One of the most common questions from sexually active women is “Am I pregnant?”

Implantation Bleeding:

About 6-12 days after conception the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.
Delay/Difference in Menstruation:

When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women do bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period.

Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, or breast-feeding.
Swollen/Tender Breasts:

Starting as early as 1-2 weeks after conception, many women will notice changes in their breasts. They will be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.

Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance, birth control pills, and impending menstruation (PMS) can also cause your breasts to be swollen or tender.
Darkening of areolas:

If you are pregnant, the skin around your nipples may get darker.

Other Explanations: Hormonal imbalance unrelated to pregnancy or may be a leftover effect from a previous pregnancy.
Fatigue/Tiredness:

This symptom can start as early as the first week after conception.

Other Explanations: Stress, exhaustion, depression, common cold or flu, or other illnesses can also leave you feeling tired or fatigued.
Nausea/Morning Sickness:

This well-known symptom will often show up between 2-8 weeks after conception. Some women are fortunate to not deal with morning sickness at all while others will feel nauseous through most of their pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Food poisoning, stress, or other stomach disorders can also cause you to feel queasy.
Backaches:

Dull backaches can be present throughout an entire pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Impending menstruation, stress, other back problems, and physical or mental strains.
Headaches:

The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Dehydration, caffeine withdrawal, eye strain, impending menstruation or other ailments can be the source of frequent or chronic headaches.
Frequent Urination:

Around 6-8 weeks after conception, you may find yourself making a few extra trips to the bathroom.

Other Explanations: Urinary tract infection, diabetes, or taking excessive diuretics.
Food Cravings:

While you may not have a strong desire to eat pickles and ice cream, many women will feel cravings for certain foods when they are pregnant. This can last throughout your entire pregnancy.

Other Explanations: Poor diet, lacking a certain nutrient, stress, depression, or impending menstruation.

Your Choice to Parent:

Being a parent is often described as one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of life. It is a miracle to watch this little life grow inside you and develop into a person with a unique personality, interests and talents; as you learn how to guide, encourage and provide for this extension of you. Besides love, the most essential need in parenting is support.

Ask yourself the following questions:

Is marrying the father a possibility? Why or why not?
Would he consider pre-marital counseling?
What type of support could he provide? (ie: financial, role model, childcare)
How would my family help? (ie: financially, childcare, living arrangements)
Could I live with family or another single mom?
How could I share responsibilities with those I live with?
What would it take to live on my own with my baby?
How can I continue to reach my goals to make a better life for me and my child?
Would I consider applying for WIC, Medicaid and other government programs?
Have I called the Helpline at 1-866-942-6466 to find resources in my area that can provide parenting support and supplies?

Your Choice to Release for Adoption:

There are a wide range of adoption plans to choose from, everything from closed to very open, independent or private to agency adoptions. Obtain as much information on adoption as possible to make an informed decision.

You can choose the adoptive family and many details of your child’s future.
Determine what you would like your relationship to be with your child and the adoptive family.
Adoptive parents explain adoption to the child at each stage of development in order to become well-adjusted, successful individuals.
At any point in the process you may decide to parent. Every state is different, though most adoptions are final when the child is 6 months old.
Counseling, support groups and other services enable each person involved to work through the grieving process, issues of loss and challenges along the way.

Once a woman finds out she is pregnant, or a man finds out he is a father, they are never the same again. Every option has challenges and long term impact. Get in touch with yourself and what is happening physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually by answering these questions.

Have I confirmed my pregnancy by testing and sonogram?
Do I know exactly how far along I am?
Do I know for sure that I am having a viable pregnancy, not ectopic?
Have I been tested and treated for STD’s, that could be aggravated by an abortion?
What is happening in the fetus at this point?
Have I talked with a counselor about all of my options?
What are my reasons for an abortion? What are my reasons for parenting?
What would an adoption plan look like?
How did I feel about abortion before being in this situation?
What procedures are available at this point in the pregnancy?
What will happen during the procedure?
What are my short term and long term risks?
Does breast cancer run in my family?
How would I feel after an abortion?
What religious convictions do I have that would impact my decision?
Is anyone pressuring me to have an abortion?
Do I want to have children in the future?
What would conditions have to be like to continue a pregnancy?

The physical side effects after an abortion will vary from woman to woman. It is important to talk with your Ob/Gyn as well as the doctor who preformed your abortion about possible side effects. Your period should return about 4-6 weeks after the abortion and you can get pregnant again soon after the abortion. If your doctor has prescribed antibiotics, it is important to take them as directed as this will help prevent infection.
After an abortion, you may experience the following side effects for up to two weeks:

Abdominal pain and cramping
Nausea
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Spotting and Bleeding

Call your doctor and seek medical attention immediately if your side effects become severe or if you experience any of the following:

Severe abdominal and back pain that prohibits you from standing up
Bleeding that is heavier than a normal menstrual period
Foul-smelling discharge
Fever above 100.4 F

What type of abortion would you perform at this point in my pregnancy?
What happens in the procedure?
What is the cost of the procedure? What do the fees include?
If it sounds “too good to be true,” it probably is. They may be making short cuts to keep their prices lower than their competitors.
What type of anesthesia is available? What are the risks of each type?
Will I be able to discuss all of my options with a counselor?
What follow-up care do you provide?
How do I take care of myself after the procedure? Why?
What should I watch out for after the procedure? Why?
Can I come in to see your clinic before making an appointment?
Is the physician performing the abortion certified by the state board? Is their medical license current?
Call your state health department for the phone number for your state’s Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline to find out if the physicians are certified and if there have been any complaints or malpractice suites filed against the doctor or clinic.
What area hospitals does the physician have admitting privileges?
If I have complications such as high fever or excessive bleeding would your clinic see me immediately?
Do you have whole blood on hand if I need a blood transfusion?
Do you have cardiac arrest equipment or respirator?
What plan do you provide in case of an emergency? Do you have emergency transportation?

If you are experiencing grief after your abortion, even if your abortion happened years ago, emotional healing is possible. Even though you may regret past actions, you can begin to make healthy choices now that will help you heal and cope. Emotional healing is a process that takes time and usually requires assistance from a counselor or support group, but you can get started on your healing by taking one or more of these steps:

Find a support group or counselor
Admit the truth about your abortion
Admit any feelings of remorse or guilt
Allow yourself to grieve the loss of your child
Talk about your experience with others
Honestly explore your feelings about your abortion
Honestly explore your feelings about the people involved with your abortion
Accept God’s forgiveness
Forgive others who were involved with your abortion
Forgive yourself
Reconcile relationships that have been affected by the abortion
Let go of your lost child
Find creative outlets that allow you to express your feelings such as writing, music, drawing, etc.
Spend time with others on the anniversary of your abortion, don’t stay alone
Pray

The Family hospital is very popular amongst the local and expatriate Middle east population. They have a cosmetic surgery wing that does the complete cosmetic surgery procedures including nose jobs, facelift, boobs enlargement and reduction, liposuction and tummy tucks including weight loss surgery. I think it is a good place to travel and take treatment.

You may not know but they do receive a no of women patient who come for abortion and family planning surgical procedures.

Overall a neat and clean and very equipped medical center with professional team of doctors and caring nurses.

Would recommend this place.

Need visa to travel to India.

Hi everyone!

I am 25 year working in real estate office in Dubai. I am half russian and half american. I am nice and beautiful. I had small breast and I happen to read about breast enlargement treatment at the Family hospital at Mumbai India.

I was apprehensive to go to a new country. I asked a few friends and i was surprised that 2 of my close associates have taken treatment at the Family hospital. They arrange everything - it seems - visa help and ticketing. I contacted them.

They helped me with all the information. I felt happy and confident. They booked Emirates tickets to Mumbai. Airport pickup was arranged from Avis car hire. The center is nice and personal. Small but clean and neat and very well equipped. An excellent operation theatre and good rooms. Even an ICU. The surgery was done nicely. I recovered the next day and took a small tour of Mumbai. They arrange everything. No worry. No trouble.

Flew back to Dubai. Emirates flight is nice. The air hostesses are good. Good food.

I had to do a few dressings at Dubai. No problem. The doctor at the Family hospital spoke to my doctor in Dubai. Good care and good co ordination.

I am happy. I look different - very good.

Very nice experience!

Girl from UK. I was pregnant last year about 2 months. My fiance and me decided not to continue pregnancy, We searched on the net. Found the Family hospital at Mumbai India. Good reviews and good response on the phone. Decided to try. A Holiday and treatment to Mumbai India was more appealing than going back home. I wanted to have privacy and confidentiality. That is what they promised and they offered me.

Overall a good caring experience. Knowledgeable doctors and decent nurses. An excellent small place in the western suburb of Mumbai. All arrangements as per schedule. The airport pickup is excellent. A placard and a driver takes care of the ground transport to the center. The center does the blood test and ultrasonography. The procedure is painless. Overall a good experience.

We flew to New Delhi and Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. It is nice and wonderful. Flew back home to Dubai.

A good good experience.

Would recommend.
